PATCHWORK SAMPLER: APPLYING FOR BALTIMORE, Bird, FLIGHT OF THE GOOSE

What you're seeing is the center of my quilt of initiation, consisting of samples sewn with a variety of techniques:

already told you my beginnings in the entry entitled patchwork TECHNIQUES Patchwork: BLOCKS, LOG CABIN, APPLY HAWAIIAN As you know I did use the parts to make cushions, while my classmates to veteran and were working on their quilts and I wanted to do everything I saw, I wanted to learn All techniques had no idea of \u200b\u200bwhat I wanted, I now know that although every day thing and have a long life is impossible ....
My teacher Neus, has been patiently teaching me one by one all that I could get into a quilt. I've had great doing it, I've been using cloth as I called the quilt, she sent, I have not conditioned the decoration of my house or a previous design, at some point was not clear how to unite so many colors but in Quilt Art helped me.
Finally I mounted, I started with the "PADDING", and began my ordeal, I have assumed that the stitches will love me after many hours of practice and I'm at that stage. I'll show the blocks as they padded.

The following images correspond to the four blocks made with the hand application technique called BALTIMORE:

The following photos, quilts and blocks are already You appreciate the finer details:

Thoughts (Pansies)

geometric Bouquet (Geometric posy)

Rose of Sharon (Rose of Sharon)

Granada (Pomegranate)

Now I will see the block with four "Bow", this technique Tere taught me that from time to time also gives us class. Place the bow in a horizontal position and joined the squares forming a kind of diamond surrounded by a green square gradient.

;

In the next image, you can see and padding, and also check "needs improvement"

I decided to mount the blocks of Baltimore at the corners of the frame bow ties, and each placed four rectangles made with a technique called "Flight of the Goose"

There are two different types because I wanted to coordinate the colors with adjacent blocks:

And so is the set padding:

The entire quilt is like an explosion of color on black background. I intend
Conclude this year and gradually teach the results.
